There are two packages in this directory. The contain the same files, but use different methods to archive them. One is a jar file and the other is a gzip compressed tar file.
The files contain the source code, the .class files, a .jar file containing the .class files, and some installation instructions. Please read the files README and INSTALL before trying to run the server.

Please note that this is code I developed in 1998 and I haven't made many changes to it since then. I use it daily to share files between windows and unix systems but have not tested it on most platforms. If you find it does or does not run on a particular system, I'd be interested in knowing.
